ND Solar Ballast Support

ND Solar Ballast Support plays a crucial role in the Nophadrain Bio-Solar Roof System. This system is ballasted on the drainage system using the ND Solar Ballast Support in combination with substrate, thereby eliminating the need for attachment to the waterproofing membrane. Another advantage is that the adjustable riser of the mounting system does not need to be pierced through the drainage system.

The ballast placed on it consists of substrate and extensive vegetation. The ballast support is a double-woven geotextile with very high resistance and mechanical strength, ensuring its long-term use as a ballast support. The screw connections of the base plates of the ND Solar Mounting System for Green Roofs can easily pierced through the geotextile. Subsequently, the ND Solar Ballast Support is clamped when the carrier of the ND Solar Mounting System for Green Roofs is placed on it.

Long product description

The ballast support has a width of 1.25 m and is placed between the raised edges of the base plate of the ND Solar Mounting System for Green Roofs. If it is necessary to overlap the ND Solar Ballast Support, the overlap should be at least 1.0 m. At the end of each row of panels, the ballast support should also extend 1 meter beyond the row itself. The ND Ballast Support can be shortened using the ND Foil Cutter.
